Recently, two serious crimes occurred in the United States: the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on August 22 and the killing of Trump’s right-wing activist Charlie Kirk on September 10. The Ukrainian refugee was killed by Decarlos Dejuan Brown, a mentally ill individual with multiple prior convictions. The murder carries elements of racism, while Kirk was killed for political reasons by radical left-wing activist Tyler Robinson. Both cases open a potential Pandora’s box, after which nothing will be the same.
